Love this thing!! I’m new to the handheld game world. Everything worked perfectly. I did change out the sd card to a higher quality one which worked just fine. My two complaints are that the back part that holds in the battery keeps coming off by itself. The second complaint is that there is a crackling sound on the speaker when i turn it on and play games. It remains despite troubleshooting.

Haven't figured out yet how to take a screenshot, though.

And it's not the most comfortable grip for normal or large hands. It is compact, though, so that's the tradeoff.

Great device, with Wi-Fi working, delivery was fast, screen quality is very good, IPS display, meaning that no matter at which angle you look, it won't distort images. It's not a clone, it has Wi-Fi built into the board, you can trust it. I recommend buying a Class 10 micro SD and installing the latest Arkos, this will improve the emulation of PPSSPP Gow. Overall, I recommend the purchase.

The console itself is great, with responsive controls, but there's an issue where the dpad tends to go diagonally downwards very easily, potentially by accident.
But I had two problems, the product told me to pick it up at the post office, I went there and without the delivery person explaining, they removed my product from there and returned it for delivery again, and they didn't notify me. Thankfully, a family member picked it up, but I went to the post office anyway.
Another thing is that when exiting the game on RetroArch through its menu using 'close content', my console sometimes freezes (probably due to the poor quality of the SD card), so I need to close the entire RetroArch to return to the ArkOS interface.
One last addition, the console came with 1GB of RAM and working WiFi, having achievements.

The best laptop in terms of cost-benefit ratio. A piece of advice for those who are going to buy, after purchasing, get a good memory card because the one that comes natively is a generic card which is very slow and over time it will stop working.



The protective film that comes with it is made of plastic.



From what I've tested so far, it runs MAME, Gameboy (including Color and Advance), NES, SNES, Mastersystem, Megadrive, Nintendo 64, Nintendo DS, and even Playstation 1 emulators very well.



If you know how to configure it well, you can even run some lighter PC games (like Celeste or Stardew Valley for example).



In PSP games, it can lag or even not run at all. But let's be honest, for the price, don't expect to run heavier games.



No more, in terms of cost-benefit, the R36S is currently the best.

As recommended i installed a fresh copy of ark os, but this unit already has it and the game card worked fine. I made a backup of f the sd and now am happily playing the r36s plus. The is the official one. No clone here.

A very nice little console. Runs games smoothly on PS1 without any issues. However, for PSP, Saturn, N64, it's complicated. Delivered with EmulationStation, very good as a front-end. The buttons make quite a loud noise when pressed, it's not pleasant. The screen is large and of good quality, it's quite striking from the first use.
