For anyone not familiar with arkos, it’s very easy to use, you have a nice pretty frontend, you can head into games and play them easily, you can adjust settings easily and all that sort of thing perfect for this device. Lovely feel to all of the buttons, this is the real deal. Technically, performance wise is pretty much the same - some psp titles will struggle or are simply unplayable, but its to be expected. What really stands out here - is the selection of games and the quality of configuration here. I got the 256gb and i have a lot of niche systems that i grew up playing, c64, amstrad... and more. All have screenshots, descriptions - play straight out of the box - no need to fiddling around (thus far). This is super appreciate and a lot of work went into it. Wifi contacted with zero issues! Highly recommended. The real deal with a superb selection of roms and systems.

The R36XX is equipped with all the games and emulators shown in the videos, just like its predecessor R36S. Additionally, it has a Wi-Fi chip, allowing you to finally play with each other and update the device comfortably. The only drawback of my model is that the joysticks are not fully fixed in the housing, causing them to wobble slightly during operation.

I recommend buying it with the lowest memory capacity and when it arrives, buying a new one and installing games since the one that comes with the system is very basic and sometimes crashes.

Exactly what i was looking for. Previously bought the r36shd thinking it was the updated version of the r36s, but that one is not open architecture. This unit works great, is open, and comes preinstalled with tons of games that work properly, run smoothly, and are well organized and named correctly. The previous unit had "legend of salda" for example, this one everything looks to be correct.

As with all of these, it's well worth swapping out the included micro sd card with a better quality one. I picked up a 2 pack of 'silicon power 128gb micro sd card u3' off amazon for £15 and they work in both slots. I have the latest arkos and a selection of roms on one card, with the other reserved for just ps1 roms.

I ordered it a while ago, I've been using it quite a bit and it's a very good console. Apart from that, the community has created countless ports just for this console. 100% recommended. However, according to what I've read, it's recommended to change its SD card. I put a SanDisk one in it and it works super well.
